Zircon gets it's name from the Arabic word, "zargun," meaning "gold color." It is a stone of balance, wisdom and enlightenment. *Zircon is not to be confused with cubic Zirconia, which is a synthetic diamond alternative. Zircon is a naturally occurring gemstone.
